Craftygon Designer Program Commercial Licenses
At Craftygon, our goal is to support creativity and empower designers — through our various systems, we’re building an ecosystem where creators can design, share, and profit with confidence. Within our ecosystem are various tools and services you can take advantage of as a designer, creator or brand, all of which you can engage your community and reach sellers with the use of commercial licenses.
Our goal is to provide a transparent, consistent and high quality platform which rewards it’s users for their ingenuity and safeguards their contributions in various ways, in addition to providing clear guidelines and expectations.
Why It Matters?
In today’s designer space, licensing often feels like a gray area. Designers often wonder:
Can others sell products made from my designs?
Am I allowed to remix or modify someone else’s work?
How do I protect my creative rights while still sharing with the community?
How much do I actually earn from my license subscriptions?
The Commercial License Program solves these challenges by providing clear licensing options and a built-in framework for monetization through either our 3D Model Marketplace
How it Works.
The Craftygon Designer Program is designed to be simple, transparent, and creator-first. Designers part of the program are able to take advantage of various tools to help monetize and protect their work. Depending on the platform within Craftygon, certain rules and guidelines apply. See below.

3D Model Marketplace:
How does it work?
The 3D Model Marketplace functions very similarly to many other popular sites. Users can simply either download free or purchase premium “paid” models from the 3D Model Marketplace either published by Craftygon or community designers. These 3D models can be used generically for private use under a standard license with download.
If users are interested in selling productized versi0ns of these 3D models downloaded from the marketplace, users can opt into subscribing to the designer’s commercial license. Commercial licenses can be set by the designer and are subject to the terms of our 3D Model Marketplace and guidelines set by the designer for their commercial license. Commercial license pricing, is set by the designers within the range of $5-$500 a month. This monthly subscription system gives designers the flexibility and ability to engage with their audience.
Commercial licenses are a monthly subscription service which enable sellers to download and sell 3D models by the designer. Terms for usage are set by Craftygon to provide consistency to our users.
Designer Payments:
Commercial license subscription payments are transferred to designers twice monthly, with a 9.5% platform fee supporting our development and sustaining operations. Payouts are subjected to any additional payment provider processing fees. PayPal is our only current payment provider, and transaction fees are subjected to their terms.
Designer premium model purchases made by users via the 3D model marketplace are transferred to designers twice monthly, with a 10% platform fee to help support the development of Craftygon and sustaining operations. Payouts are subjected to any additional payment provider processing fees. PayPal is our only current payment provider, and transaction fees are subjected to their terms.
Product Packages:
How does it work?
Product Packages are not quite like anything else available anywhere else. Our proprietary technology enables our diverse community of Craftygon Members, sellers & brands to gain commercial access to full suite products, import, and sell them wherever they like without ever touching the 3D models or design files. Utilizing our production capabilities, and advanced systems enables you as a designer to safeguard your work, while still allowing for the monetization of your work. When Sellers/Members of your product package make a sale of your product, they simply customize their order on Craftygon and send it for production. We handle the rest either shipping directly to the sellers or their customers.
We open up the ability to work with our team to create Product Packages to certain high quality designers that are part of the Craftygon Community. If you are invited to create a Product Package, you are opened up to the entire manufacturing capabilities and services of Craftygon. Our goal is to entirely simplify the process of bringing real products to market. As a designer, you can take advantage of a vast array of possibilities including working directly with our team to bring your brightest dreams to life:
